TECHNIQUE – Warm ups, breath control exercises, singing without hurting your voice, establishing a practice routine
IMPROVISATION – Major scale Improvisation, Singing root notes of chords in a progression, Learn common improv vocabulary
EAR TRAINING – Major and Minor scales patterns, Intervals, triads and singing arpeggios
PERFORMANCE – Performing simple pop/RnB songs, and beginner jazz standardsBlue Moon, Autumn Leaves, Can’t Help Falling In Love, What A Wonderful World
TECHNIQUE – Focussed warm ups, Learning the right vocal technique, Breath Control Exercises, Discover your range, tone, texture
PERFORMANCE – Intermediate pop/RnB songs and beginner jazz standards wiith solfege and lyrics, Sing with backing tracks and while keeping a steady beat
IMPROVISATION – Transcribe simple phrases in Major and minor scale and use them to improvise over a simple progression
EAR TRAINING – Major/minor scale intermediate pattern exercises, Intervals of major and minor scale, Triads, singing arpeggios and progressions
TECHNIQUE – Modifying tone, texture, phrasing, Working on speed, enunciation, Singing without hurting your voice
PERFORMANCE – Your “goal songs”, Performing + improvising on standardsBlue Moon, East of the Sun (And West of the Moon), One Note Samba, Lullaby of Birdland
IMPROVISATION – Guided chord-tone improvisation in standards, Creating and performing solos, Lifting lines from popular recordings and applying them to your own improv in standards
EAR TRAINING – Major/minor scale advanced exercises, Chromatic scale, intervals of chromatic scale, Major and minor pentatonic Scale, Transcription of riffs and phrases in all above scales
