What You Will Learn

Learn how to play “tunes” and songs and in the process learn all the required techniques.

Learn the foundations of harmony, how to accompany others.

Learn how to solo and improvise using triads, arpeggios, scales and vocabulary.

Learn how to get “band stand” and jam ready!

Pre-requisites –

Must be curious and hungry to learn! Must be over the age of 15. No prior experience is necessary.

Student Performance: Orville and Suveer

Orville and Suveer have been part of the Jazz Guitar Programme from the beginning. In less than a matter of a year, they have been performing live.

Orville even played at International Jazz Day 2023 in Goa. Both Orville and Suveer are full-time professionals that have day jobs; they learn from GJA once a week online.

  • Using the modes over simple chord progressions
  • Applying Modes to the previous “tunes.”
  • Mixing Modes, arpeggios and triads
